Description
A collection of Fleetwood commemorative First Day Cover panels featuring US and international postal issues. The lot includes the 1983 Birds of Prey series with 20c and $5.00 Official Mail stamps, the 1983 300th Anniversary of German Immigration joint issue, and the 1988 Australia Bicentennial joint issue. High-value franking includes the 1985 $10.75 Express Mail eagle stamp. Thematic sets include the 1990 Historic Indian Headdresses, 1988 cat breeds, and 1987 Special Occasions series. Each panel consists of a philatelic specimen with an official First Day of Issue cancellation, original cachet artwork, and descriptive historical text. Cancellations are present from various postal jurisdictions including Washington, DC, Cody, WY, and Sydney, Australia.All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
