This lot comprises a diverse assembly of international coinage and commemorative medals. Featured items include Canadian 1982 souvenir dollars for Lake Louise, Banff, and the Jasper National Park 75th Anniversary. Notable world issues include a Switzerland 1850 Helvetia piece, an Italy 1934 10 Lira (Victor Emanuel III, KM-75), and a Brazil 1940 300 Reis (Getulio Vargas, KM-544). The collection includes Canadian 25-cent pieces from the reigns of Queen Victoria, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. Additional issuers represented include FR (1981 2 Francs KM-942.1 and La Semeuse types), China (1979 Fen), HK (scalloped edge types), Somalia (5 Shillings KM-33), UK, DE, and US coins. A Victoria B.C. City of Gardens souvenir token is also included. The 1982 Jasper National Park souvenir dollar commemorates the 75th anniversary of the park’s establishment.All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
