A Collection of 12 Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint 1:24 Scale Die-cast Model Vehicles
Description
This collection consists of twelve 1:24 scale die-cast metal model automobiles from both The Franklin and Danbury Mint, including a variety of American and European classics. The inventory comprises two 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner convertibles, two 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupes, one 1955 Chevrolet Nomad wagon, one 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, one 1948 Chrysler Town and Country Woodie convertible, one 1916 Mack AC flatbed truck, three 1930 Stutz DV-32 roadsters, and one MG TC roadster. The models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic interior components, rubber tires, and chrome-plated trim. The chassis of the 1955 Chevrolet Nomad features a printed silver mark reading 1955 CHEVY NOMAD, copyright 1989, and THE FRANKLIN MINT. The 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner chassis is embossed THE FRANKLIN MINT. The 1948 Chrysler Town and Country Woodie chassis is marked THE FRANKLIN MINT. The cream-colored MG TC roadster features a chassis embossed MG TC and MADE IN W. GERMANY. Other vehicle undersides bear identifying text including 1916 MACK AC and 1930 STUTZ DV-32. The Mack truck features a chain-drive mechanism. Several vehicles include opening doors, hoods, and trunks with linked steering. Original boxes and documentation are not present. Please review all photos carefully, all items come as is and may have damage or be missing pieces. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale. We offer multiple shipping options, please read the shipping terms to understand your options. We also offer Pick-Ups Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday immediately following the sale.
