Bodnar’s Premier Card Auction – January 22, 2026

Online auction with live broadcast and real-time bidding

Bodnar’s Auction is thrilled to present its Premier Card Auction on January 22, 2026. This online sale features a jaw-dropping lineup of modern pop culture treasures, vintage sports cards, sealed wax packs, and graded slabs. With a live auctioneer and caller guiding each lot, every item sells to the highest bidder—no reserves and starting bids at just $10.00.

The sale begins with an impressive extensive collection of new, factory sealed Pokémon cards including Pokémon Sword & Shield Ultra-Premium Collection, Crown Zenith collection, Scarlet & Violet 151 Elite, Scarlet & Violet, Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions, Scarlet & Violet Surging Sparks, and other complete sealed boxes! Complete master sets include Evolutions, Paradox Rift, Temporal Forces, Crown Zenith, Paldean Fates, Scarlet & Violet 151, and more! Besides the new we also have the vintage including 1999 sealed base sets and other classic Pokémon sealed packs! This collector went out of his way to get them all!

The sale then moves into Harry Potter! From the collection of Lisa Singer comes a complete set of 2004 Artbox Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban cards including the rare Emma Watson signature card estimated at $3000.00-$5000.00. Lisa Singer worked at Warner Bros. from December 2001 through winter 2004 as the Project Manager, Text & Verbiage, in Warner Bros. Consumer Products. In this role, she wrote licensed product copy and oversaw a team of writers and coordinators responsible for brand language across Harry Potter consumer products, including video games greeting cards and games. She is credited as a writer on the first three Harry Potter video games. All copy and brand language produced by her team was submitted directly to J.K. Rowling for approval, placing her at the center of the franchise’s early global merchandising expansion during the original film releases. The cards offered come from her personal collection and are supported by original studio-era documentation and credentials from her time at Warner Bros. Following her work on Harry Potter, Singer went on to build a career as a writer, director, and producer in unscripted television. They were given as a gift directly from Warner Bros and Art Box. To find out more about this collection listen to this week’s new podcast on Bodnar’s Bids & Banter.

Batter Up as we move into baseball! We are offering a single owner collection of completed sets covering the 1957-1959 greats as well as some 1960s and beyond! We broke down the sets so you can add that special card into your collection. Some have been graded and this sale features some of the hard-to-find greats including Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Roger Maris, Hank Arron, Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson just to name a few! Most of this collection is in good to excellent condition! Besides these great 1950s cards we have a collection of wax sealed 1980s cards perfect for live break shows! Who knows what you might score!

I’m happy with everything Joe and Janet did, you were both informative and were very helpful with the questions I had being that I was never in that position before. Janet’s response time was also positive for me. It was interesting to watch the auction live. I thought you did an amazing job and had a nice banter back and forth. You seem to be a good team! Thank you for all your hard work and making this difficult time of letting  my deceased father’s collectibles go an easy experience.

I would like to thank you for including me in your online sale.
Everything from none contact drop off, to none contact pick up, was handled with the outmost professionalism.
I appreciated your clear communication after the sale with a printout and an explanation of when I’ll receive my check.
Overall I was very please with the prices my jewelry achieved, some lot  went for less then I expected, others went for more, it’s all in the average.

Thank you very much

Michal F.

I come to your auctions often. You and your staff are great. Your change to an online auction on 4/9 is just another testament to your fine character and being thoughtful of others. The items are great no doubt, but a big reason I keep coming back is due to the culture you have created. Thank you. Art
