Highlights of the Auction
Lot 38: 20th Century Dresden Style Porcelain Figural Grouping
This Dresden-style porcelain figure depicts a mother, father, child, and pet bird grouped together. What exactly they’re doing is up to interpretation, but whatever the case may be, their intricate hand-painted porcelain is certain to make this family a charming addition to your home.
Lot 71: 19th Century Porcelain French Stage Coach Figural Grouping
If you’re a history lover who wants to bring a piece of the French Revolution to your home, this porcelain figure will look perfect perched upon your fireplace mantle. Titled, “Voure de Mariage de Napoléon”, the figural depicts the Little Corporal himself riding in his wedding carriage. Even if you aren’t a fan of Napoleon, the horses and stylish coats depicted here are aesthetically pleasing and a great addition to almost any room.
Lot 91: 19th Century Meissen Hand-Painted Porcelain Figurine
One of many Meissen porcelain figurines you can find at our auction is this well-dressed blonde woman. While she appears to be someone bowling a gold ball, you could interpret her as one of many allegorical figures if you want to add more character to your home. She could be Idun from Norse mythology with her golden apple, Aphrodite with the golden apple Paris gifted her—the list goes on.
Lot 111: Pair of Meissen Hand-Painted Tall Vases
Searching for a bold addition to your living room? Then these two hand-painted vases are a perfect fit. Their dark cobalt blue, decorative snake handles, and distinct patterns combine to make them unique pieces.
Lot 175: 19th Century Sevres Double Handled Porcelain Urn
This double handled porcelain urn has a beautiful painting of a man and a woman as its focal point. Anyone wishing to add a touch of artistic expression to their home will love how the pleasant, light colors of the painting contrast with the dark bronze colors of the rest of the urn.
Lot 190: Antique Bronze Oversized Figural Palace Mantle Clock
Beyond just porcelain figurines, there’s a diverse array of other works of art in our auction. For example, this bronze mantle clock—flanked by two cherubs and adorned with ornate designs—will add a palace-like feel to your home.
Lot 200: 14K White Gold Sapphire and Diamond Bracelet
Our arts & antiques auction also includes this stunning diamond bracelet. Made with 12.83 carats of Natural Sapphire Corundums and 3.90 carats of Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds, its the real deal.
Lot 218: Antique Russian Silver and Enamel Faberge Style Decorative Egg Box
Inspired by the world-famous Faberge eggs, this stylish silver and enamel decorative egg box can bring a sense of regality to your bedroom or living room. It also comes with a decorative stand for display, though it was not originally made with the egg.
Lot 251: Monumental Antique Bisque and Porcelain Statue
Among the more detailed works in our auction is this antique porcelain statue of a flower-picking girl. Not only are the gorgeous patterns and elaborate creases of her dress no doubt the work of a master modeller, but she’s also bisque. Many French and German dolls made in the late 19th century were also in this bisque style, meaning that they were made with unglazed porcelain.
