Grouping of 3 ancient coins including a bronze AE Trias River God. Head of Gelas the River God right, grain behind/bull standing left head slightly lowered. Sicily – Gela, 420 – 405 BC. Weighs approx. 4.8g. Second is a silver AR Tetrobol. Head of nymph Histiaea right, rolled & wreathed with vine/Nymph Histiaea sitting on a right stern of galley ornamented with wing, holding stylus. Histiaia – Euboea, 196 – 146 BC. Weihs approx. 1.6 g. Last is a Orodes II Parthian Silver Drachm. Bust facing left/beardless archer sitting right on throne , bow in hand and a 7 line description. 57 – 38 BC. Weighs approx. 3.9g. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
